I'm a journalist for a national magazine looking to interview someone who has arranged to be a gestational surrogate for the first time. I would prefer someone who has already gone through the paperwork or at least has a relationship/arrangement with IPs--or who is pregnant currently. Even if helping someone is a large reason for your becoming a surrogate, you must be doing this at least in part to make money.
