Back from another doctor's appointment, not a big surprise nowadays since I spend more time there then any where else. We had a scan today, so we were able to see the babies they seem to be right on track. We received appromixate weights for them, baby A seem to be 2 lbs 7 oz, baby b 2 lbs 3 oz, and baby c 2 lbs 2oz, and they are all between 15 and 16 inches long. YAY !!!!!!! we were all happy to see them even though we were all in a tiny room where we almost didn't fit lol. I am on partial bedrest meaning I have to limit my physical activites, I can move around the house but I spend a lot of time in bed since it's easier to keep the weight off my back and legs. The babies are only around 2 lbs each but I have put on (shame to say) 46lbs and I will continue to grow and put on the weight as my doctor so nicely pointed out for a few more weeks we hope.

So I'm 18 weeks and 5 days , today and I have to admit I am feeling more and more exhausted by the day not to mention I seem to be growing by the day as well.  But even though I may not be feeling super at the moment the babies are doing super which it all worth it, plus seeing our IP's faces when they come over to visit and see my belly growing it excites them which in turn excite me as well. My son keeps asking me if we get to keep the babies after they come out of my belly and even though we keep explaining to his that they aren't "ours" he seem to think if he keep asking I will say yes. LOL.

We had our last appointment on Thursday and our OB seems to think we are doing great, just have to keep putting on the weight and taking it easy as much as possible.  We disscussed when he though I should stop working and idue to the stress of my job he thinks it may be good to stop as early as 20 weeks. We'll see how I'm feeling by then, I may totally be ready to stop. We see our MFM on Monday, I have seem more doctors since the beginning of this year then my whole family LOL

This is my first blog on here and it's been a while since I been on but I wanted to start keeping a "journal" of this amazing journey and why not share it with people that are going thru what I am going thru right now.

I am a first time surrogate and I couldn't be more happy about our transfer being successful. I had a tough few weeks before the transfer with the "regument" and then obviously with the most horrible morning sickness that went away 2 weeks ago. YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant with TRIPLETS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also the reason why I haven't been around much been trying to get my head around the whole suprise of it all. But now I'm doing much better with the idea and my IP's are so super happy with the results of multiples although it does arise a lot of concern for my health and of course the babies. For now I'm still working and trying to take it as easy as possible but still finding it hard to manage my entire work load plus the extra work that my body is doing with the pregnacy to find enegry to make it thru the day.

But my fiance and son are super good, helpful and supportive at home and my IP's call everyday to see if something new happen and how I'm feeling.

I'm also going to try to keep a picture journal to show my progress.
