Hello! my name is Erin, and I am a 24 year old Mother of 2. I have a little girl who is 3-1/2 & a little boy who is 2-1/2, and they are the light of my life. My husband and I have been married for 3 years, and dated for 3 years prior to that. I work fulltime for a really great small construction type business, and have been here for 5 years now.

I began my journey into Surrogacy after one of my best friends experienced complications with her pregnancies. It just made me think about how lucky I am to have had two healthy pregnancies with no complications, and how there are some women who want to have a baby so badly, but their bodies won't let them. I am a free spirit -accepting of all colors, genders, races, religions & types of couples. I myself, have a very cultured family.

My 3 siblings & I were adopted when I was 4, so I have first hand experience with being a child in "the system" & whole heartedly believe that if a person wants children and isn't able to have them on their own - that it is my job to help them.

I have signed up through an agency & have been on their list of approved surrogates since October 2007, but have yet to be matched. I am a little discouraged at that fact, but believe that the probelm is weight related. I am working on that, but even at my current weight I had a healthy pregnancy & child, so it is a little disheartening that I'm being judged solely on my stats. I am hoping that I can change some minds, and in the process I'm working on dropping the pounds.

I am hoping to be a GS, and am open to all parties with no stipulations. It is really important to myself as well as my husband that the IP's that I am matched with are open minded & non-judgemental. I have tattoos, and my beliefs on religion are a little wayward from the rest of the crowd, but I believe that those things shouldn't matter when we are talking about the gift of life. I am putting it all on the table so that anyone who wants to know about me will know these things ahead of time, but i know there are IP's out there who are as free spirited & positive as I am. My little girl Kaylee (who is not so little anymore) is 3-1/2 going on 14. She loves to learn, loves to read & is very much mama's girl. She, like her mama, loves with her whole heart & is sensitive to other people's pain. There was a commercial on TV for the ASPCA, and there is a really sad song playing in the background with images of animals in need of help, and at 3 years old my beautiful little girl turns to me with tear filled eyes & says "mama, the animals just need help" and then she begins to cry for them.

My son Kaden is 15 months younger than his sister & just as loving. he has a laugh that will just make you smile from ear to ear for three days, and when he hugs you, he melts your heart. He is a shy observer at first, but once he warms up to you - you become his buddy for life. Wild animals are his favorite, when you ask him what a Tiger says he'll tell you "TIGER!! RAAAARRRR!" and then he grins. We call him bubbie-tank, because he's a real boy's boy when he plays. Daddy is his favorite person to be with.

My husband & I are what's called Shift Parents. He works the night Shift & I work the day shift so that we are able to raise our own children. Even though we could make more money if we both worked the day shift we prefer to be the ones to be there for our kids every achievement.
