My husband and myself hired a traditional surrogate here in Illinois, who claimed she was pregnant on the third try, but refused to prove it. She has lied to us, demanded money...$250 a day to continue the pregnancy or else she would not be able to handle going through with it. In the absence of proof we instead, cut her funding at our attorneys request.
I have found where she claimed to be pregnant with another couples child two weeks prior to signing our contract, and at her own admission states she is now pregnant for a couple in Indiana.
She failed to let us know that she has permanently lost custody of 4 (all) of her own children because she was posioning them to death with Icapec Suryp, for the attention she would recieve from the hospital staff.
Since her 'miscarriage' vs 'abortion' she has called the state authorities on us at least twice, and continues to make up new e-mail addresses so as to contact and harass us.
Any one hiring a surrogate who wants to verify that you have not accidentally come in contact with this woman can Google the first name Stacey, then put in the words Munchausen By Proxy. This will easily direct you towards information about our nightmare.
