i've had a rough pregnancy history of 7 pregnancies & my last one finally ended in a child able to survive (8 yrs ago), however, i almost died having him. my doctor told me i'd only have a 40% chance of surviving another pregnancy let alone childbirth, so i've decided to try to have another child another route.

i'm a nurse.

15 yrs ago in august i should've had a daughter but she was born @ 24 weeks gestation & unable to survive. after her i had 5 miscarriages (ranging between 3 mths & 5 mths along) then finally my son is 8 yrs old, having been born 10 wks early. he was 3 days old when i was well enough to be taken into the neonatal intensive care unit to see him, at that point he was already off of oxygen. he weighed in @ 2#, 9.4 oz but he was perfect. he was 10 wks early but doing so well they let him come home after 5 wks.
