Hello to all!! I'm new...Just started the cycle...My lupron shots start this Wednesday!! I'm good friends with the IP's and I am just overjoyed for them!! I'm glad I have a place to come to that will understand everything that I will be doing and going through...and to help me understand some stuff...I may be a RN..but I'm not a OB/GYN nurse! LOL

i hope all goes well, you said you know the IP well, did they approach you or did you approach them? I would like to be a surrogate for a couple that I know well I just don't know what I should say to let them know that I would be a surrogate for them if they would like to go that route, any advice?

Hi Sweetlisa!  Actually my friend had mentioned it in talking...not asking me directly...just conversation...she was talking about adoption..surrogacy..etc....I told her that I would luv to do it for her...I had thought about doing it before in general before this....If you and your friend are close I would suggest just talking to her about "options" and mention to her that you would be happy to help!! At least from there the convo could start and she will know you are willing to help!  I am so happy to be able to help such a wonderful person by carrying a child for her and her DH! Good luck with your friend!!
