I'm new to this site....I've read some here and there though and it is nice to see other women that feel the same way I do...

I've just started my cycle for possible transfer @ Jan 13!! I'm so excited. I am a GS for a very good friend of mine that I've known for 10 1/2 yrs. I am just thrilled for her and her husband!!!  I know her husband as well.  I have the wonderful support of my family which means everything to me! My daughter supports me although she finds it "weird". My oldest son understands the process and "gets it", but is still "getting it"..LOL! My youngest is only 8yo so I've not actually told him yet..I've decided to wait until it will be more concrete to him. the whole medical mumbo jumbo would just confuse him.....

Anyway...wanted to say hi to everyone and good luck!!

Good luck!! There are a lot of members who are experienced if you have any questions.. I'm a FIM... That's wonderful what you are doing for your friends, what a beautiful gift you are giving them! I look forward to hearing more about your journey!

Wow, your transfer is just around the corner!!

Hey there again!! Yes it is around the corner...I'm so excited for my IP's!!! I've been taking my Lupron now for 6 days...I've not had any problems at all!! YEA! I'm so glad to have found a place that understands what I am doing...and why I am doing it!!!  I look forward to sharing my journey with you and hearing about yours as well!

ok guys!! quick question...stopped my bcp's 3 days ago...AF came yesteday...still on my 10units of Lupron...since this is my first cycle should this monthly be my "typical"...(only dumb question is one not asked right???) LOL!  I've still not had any awful side effects from the Lupron..I go Tuesday for my sonogram and blood work! Wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thanks for the help also!!!

I haven't ever one a transfer or anything but it seems to me that you are on schedule. Since you started on the 25th then the 13th will be day 20 of your cycle which is th typical time (in a conventional pregnancy) when zygote implants.  so I think it depends on what day transfer you are doing (3 or 5 day) that will determine if everything stays on schedule.  Of course don't take my word for it I'm not a doctor and I haven't finished my midwifery studies but that is just what seems natural.

That's great momof3! January 13 will be here before you know it!! When is the egg retrieval? Or is it a frozen transfer?
