I want to be a GS but I live in Upstate NY and as far as I know NY has no laws for or against Surrogacy. There has to be people who needs surrogates in NY too, how does that work, can lawyers work around that when drawing up a contract? Also, what are normal things to ask for, ie. monthly allowance for maternity clothes and such, medical bills covered, travel expenses, plus your surrogacy fee. I have never been a surrogate before but I love being pregnant but I am not sure if I want anymore of my own children, I might want one more but not anytime soon. I have two girls now and I know I would be fine being a GS. Both pregnancy were very normal with no complications. I was wondering though, my blood is type O-, will that be problematic? I know I had to have Rogham shots with both of my pregnancies but other than that it never really came up so I wasn't sure. I would really love to help some people out that can't have children but there seem to be so many obstacles. Any input that would help me out would be great. |

Wishing you good luck on your journey! I am not sure on the O-, but I'm almost positive that it wouldn't be a problem. You might want to ask the Dr. on the boards. Good luck! |
