I am new to the process of wanting to be a surrogate, and I'm not sure how to go about finding IPs independently.  I live in LA and have contacted a few agencies here but would also like to search on my own.  I am 39 and realize that the clock is really ticking if I am to have any chance of being a surrogate...  Specifically, I would really like to be a surrogate for a person or family ready for a baby, but who can't afford the surrogate's fee. I don't need the money and would be happy to waive the fee.  How can I go about finding candidates?

Wow, that's great that you are willing to waive the fee for IPs. I'm sure you'll have a lot of responses. I just want to wish you luck on finding the perfect IPs for you. I too am looking for IPs and just started about a month ago. I'm working with some agencies as well, but IPs have to pay so much more going through an agency, so I would think you are better off going indy.

Wow you are a sweet heart for doing it with no fee,,  I seen on a website called surrogate mothers online they have a classified section when alot of IPs post who would love one day to become a family and by money situation they cant afford the standard fee,,,,, they can either afford a small fee or hoping for an angel like urself who will do it for almost nothing!!
