Lost in all the drama of the past week was an important decision out of New York. In the case of T.V. (Anonymous), et al., v. New York State Department of Health, the Supreme Court of the State of New York (their appellate court) recognized the right of a genetic mother using a gestational carrier to have her name placed on her child’s birth certificate.
