I had an elective c-section when having the twins in December 2010 and my dr told me I could get pregnant again as early as 8 months after. I feel comfortable to give myself a year so I am hoping to be ready for another transfer by Jan 2012. Has anyone else here been a surrogate more than once and had a c-section. How long did you wait? |

I think if your dr. said 8 months and you feel you'll be comfortable in 1 year, that should be fine! I've had two friends of mine wait exactly 1 year between pregnancies with a c-section. Hope this helps and good luck to you!! |

My surrogate waited 10 months before starting our process after a c-section with her FIPs. She felt she was 100% and her dr. said 6 months I believe was the amount of time needed for her uterus to heal. Good luck to you and congrats on the twins, what a beautiful gift you've given to your IPs. |
