Surrogacy in France

It's well known that Surrogacy in France is totally forbidden. France's top court refused Wednesday to allow French citizenship for 10-year-old twin girls born to a surrogate mother in the United States. Wednesday's ruling follows a lower court's order that stripped the twins from France's civil registry. Being listed on the civil registry is a
requirement for obtaining documents including identity cards or passports. What are your thoughts on this?

Also, if you are French or Belgian and have children through surrogacy internationally and would like to share your experience with a French journalist working for the national public channel France 2, please PM me.
