Women who become surrogates are special. They selflessly carry a child for those who can’t. They endure psychological counseling, fertility treatments, pregnancy cravings, swollen feet and more just to create a happy family for others.

But surrogates are still human. They need a place to go to vent their frustrations, ask questions, and connect with other women who are going through the same process. That’s why Alternative Reproductive Resources created “The Surrogacy Spotlight,” a Facebook community just for surrogates, surrogacy experts and women interested in becoming a surrogate.

We know there are plenty of great surrogacy forums online already, but many of them include intended parents and allow solicitations. The Surrogacy Spotlight is just the opposite. It’s a place just for surrogates, to express your joys, fears, frustrations, or triumphs, and to ask questions.
