This is a question for the experienced surrogate or FIPs. What hospital
arrangements did you make for post delivery? Do the IPs get a room for
themselves to care for the baby until he/she is ready to go home or
does the surrogate room in with IPs and new baby.

I am
carrying a singleton, and IPs live in town so they will be present
immediately after birth. I was curious about arrangements at that
point.  Any suggestions? Thank you!

It depends on the hospital and what they allow. The hospital gave us our own room, and our GS had her own private room. It was nice because she had a c-section and was able to have her privacy to recover.. I would ask her throughout each day to let us know when she felt ok and we would bring our son in to visit her
