Our story is long, like many others, Im sure.  We found our surrogate on our own and are now beginning to have issues w/ her lying.  We did the retrieval on Sat. 5-2 and will hopefully do the transfer on Thurs., we found out she didn't stop smoking and has been lying to us.  On one hand I am so happy and on the other I am so nervous.  We got 9 eggs and all 9 fertilized Yea!  They only implant 2.  I don't even know if shes doing the shots.  What do I do?  Besides have faith and pray.  Has anyone else had trouble w/ theri surrogate and had everything work out?

oh wow, I didn't see on your blog that she is still smoking?? Did you see her smoke or did she just tell you? I am so sorry! Hopefully things straighten out. You don't need to be stressed, this should be a very happy time. Again, you are all in my prayers!

Oh my gosh, I feel for you having to deal with that.  I have been so blessed with my surrogate.  We transferred on April 24th and the firt blood test was positive, the second one will be today...should be hearing any monute now.........Just keep in mind that even though you may have a hard road ahead of you the end result will be worth it.  I know it's hard to not have control over what your baby may be exposed to while in the womb, but for those of us who can't carry a baby we have to put our faith in others that they will do the right thing.  I have personally quite smoking (4 years ago) and it is not an easy task, it took 4 tries before it stuck, so she may have good intentions and just be finding it harder than she thought to actually quit.  What else has she been lying about?
