Hi everyone! I'm new to this MB, but not so much to surrogacy. I just finished my journey with the most wonderful set of IF's every, one month ago today. She was born at 29 weeks and 3 days, due to the fact that I suddenly developed PE and had to be delivered immediately. There was never any problem with her, and she is doing just amazingly! She is just so beautiful and precious, and obviously such a blessing. Anyway, I don't want to draw this out too long...but I'm wondering if there are many other (or ANY other) surrogates out there who have dealt with PE during any of the pregnancies, and particulary if so, have they been able to carry as a surrogate again? I've spoken to a few on another board, but there aren't many. I would really like to carry one more time for my IF's, but there is a problem finding an RE who will work with me, because of the PE. The thing is, they all tell me the likelyhood of it happening again with different DNA (we would use the other IF's sperm this time), are slim. But they still aren't really open to taking any chances, so I just don't know what to do. If there is ANYONE in here who has been in my shoes, or knows of anyone who has...I would be so interested to hear what you have to say, who you worked with, etc.

Thanks so much for takting the time to read this! Happy Holidays eveyone. =)

I haven't had PE, but I would think that the likelyhood of it happening again is slim, but I'm not a doctor so I'm not sure. I'm glad that your previous journey went well and that the baby was born healthy and you are doing well. Hopefully there is someone who has been in your shoes and can respond.

I just wanted to wish you the best of luck if you decide it is ok to go through this again. I'll keep you in my prayers and hope to hear more about your journey!

Live your life to the fullest!
