Mad Men, The Mentalist, Lie to Me, True Blood, The Soup, Law & Order: SVU (but I'll watch any of them)

I'll listen to Top 40, Pop, Oldies, Classic Rock and Rock.

cross stitching, reading

Stephen King, Charlaine Harris, Jodi Picoult, Wally Lamb, John Irving but I usually won't turn down any book. :)

A Christmas Story, Dirty Dancing, anything with Seth Rogen

I am 29 years old and have two children. I had 2 wonderful pregnancies with no major complications (ie no diabetes, high blood pressure, anything causing bed rest, etc.). I wish to help other people feel the joy of parenting. I am open to working with any sort of couple or individual.

My daughter was born in April 2006 and my son was born in May 2008.

I love reading and cross-stitching. I am also very much into Disney World and am usually planning a future trip.

Rockland County/Lower Hudson Valley, NY. I understand that this is an issue regarding surrogacy laws. I am willing to travel to PA, NJ, CT, Delaware and even Florida, since my parents winter from October to May.

DisneyMom- I was just noticing your profile of authors- love them all!! Wally Lamb is phenomenal and Jodi Picoult is a huge favorite- her books always make me "think"!!!

I love that Wally Lamb just came out with a Christmas book - it was a (too) fast read and great, but left me wanting for more.  And Jodi Picoult - phenomenal!  :)  What authors/genres do you like?

I will read almost any fiction- I go from family oriented, mysteries, some crime- I read a bunch of books this past summer all by the same guy and darned if I can remember his name now...I'm not really interested in "romance novels". I prefer real life scenarios or close to it anyway (like Jodi Picoult!) Do you have any good suggestions? I am about to be on my winter break and will have 6 weeks to fill with reading for pleasure, not textbooks!!!
