Hello~

First off I want to say thank you for considering me to help you make the most important person in your life. What you and your family have gone through trying to have a baby is something that no one should be put through but it is going to make that little one that much more loved. I want to commend you for not giving up. With that here is a little about me.

My name is Brooke and I am from Michigan. I am 24 years old and am 5”3 and 155Lb. I graduated from high school and went to a trade school for medical transcription but I am currently a stay-at-home mom. The first few years go by so fast and I don’t want to miss a thing. I am in good health and exercise everyday by running around with my kids. I have been with my husband for 9 years. We are true life high school sweethearts. He is the love of my life and I feel so lucky to say that. My husbands name is Jesse and he is 27 years old. He also graduated from high school and is currently in school working on his R.N. He works in Kidney dialysis and loves it. We own our home. Our neighborhood is safe and kid friendly. I would not want to live anywhere else.

I have wanted to be a surrogate since I was pregnant with my daughter. I loved being pregnant (most people think I am nuts for this lol). After I had her and held her in my arms I realized that this is something that I HAVE to do. Now I have two little girls and they are my world. I look at them every day and just thank God that he gave me them. My oldest name is Kendall and she is 2. She was born at 39 weeks weighing 6 Lb and 18 ½ in. long. She is such a little firecracker lol. That kid makes me crack up every day. Her favorite things to do are play with her dolls, jump on the trampoline, and run around with our puppy Harley. My youngest child name is Lillian and she is 8 months old. She was also born at 39 weeks and weighed 7 Lb 8 Oz and was 21 ½ in long. Lillian is such a mommy’s girl. She is nothing but all smiles. Her favorite things to do are master sitting up, eat everything in sight, and watch her sister and puppy like a hawk. I feel so lucky to have two healthy sweet little girls.

My conception, pregnancies, and deliveries have been easy and very uneventful (just the way you want them). Like I said I love being pregnant and can not wait to help another family have this gift. I want the IP’s to feel like they are part of EVERYTHING. Unfortunately I live in Michigan which isn’t surro-friendly but I know a lot of surrogates that have lived and delivered here with no problems.. The lawyer puts the comp down as “pain and suffering”. I would be willing to do the cycles and deliver in a different state though. I will travel as much as you need me to. There are a few things that I will not consider in this pregnancy which is termination due to medical issues and selective reduction. I believe that God gives you the child that he intends on you having and you should not be picky. I am a strong believer in “ Everything happens for a reason”. Other then that I am a really open person.

I would love to talk with you more and learn more about you. I really hope that we are a good match so we can get started ASAP. I am ready when you are.

I hate to talk money but that is part of the process I have my own insurance that would cover this pregnancy so that would save you around $10,000. I have included my compensation outline. I hope to talk with you real soon. God Bless!!!

Hi, Brooke.  I really appreciate your post.  I am a 41 year old with a history of repeated miscarriages.  After long and thoughtful consideration, my husband and I are looking into surrogacy.  If possible, I'd like to use my own eggs, however, at 41, I'm not sure if this is feasible.  In any case, you sound like you'd be a great surrogate mother.  You love being pregnant?  Really?  As a potential Intended Mom, the thought of doing this is both exciting and scary....all the what ifs come to mind.  Have you thought about how you'd feel about parting with the baby after he/she is born?   Hope to hear from you,   Nikki.   PS....I live in SW  Michigan as well.

Hi, brook, it's leana. i signes up on this yesterday and found your blog today. i find tha tyou and i are pretty much in the same shoes except that your husband is older than mine, and the 2 kids and the living in Mihian. my mother inlaw is from michigan and my hubby is 24 and i have one beautiful little girl of 15 months.

i am trying to find a way to be a surrogate mother, but unforunately for me, i was in a car accident about 2 years ago and it is leaving me with a lot of vists to the mental clinic and the nuro logical ass. and being on gov. ass, and moody and more. i kno w that it is a lot that i am trying to do right now and on top of that, i am trying to go to school. i do not know how much effort it's going to take for me to keep on searching for the ray of hope that one day i will be able to find a company that will want me to be their surrogate mother b/c i have taken antidepressants and be on gov. ass. and what i would like to say do not come out right or at least it does not come out as right as it should. my poor hubby got a new wife after the car accident. i was a totally different person. i some times wonder how he feels about it and some times, i know it hurts his feelings, but the doctors are doing all they can to help me and so we sit and wait for the final results that will await us in the near future i hope.

i wish you the best luck finding your IP'S.
