I don't really know the difference btw a blog and a forum, so I'll just post on both.  I am looking for some guidance and advice on how to deal w/ a surrogate.  I am the IM and we did the retrieval on Sat and hope to do the transfer on Thurs.  I am so excited on one hand and so nervous on the other.  This surrogate seems to have been lying and is already hard to deal w/.  The fertility clinic has tried to help me, but I thought maybe some "expert" advice would be better.  Has anyone had a surrogate that was difficult to deal with, but then turned out ok in the end?  I don't even know if she's doing the shots.  I am trying so hard to have faith, but honestly this is our last hope.  If she doesn't work out, my husband won't agree to do this again.  Help!!!  How can I appease everyone!

I think that you should be honest about your feelings and fears.  Just becareful not to push. There was something about her that made you choose her, so remember that. Keep your comunication open and show concern for her too. I know that was the biggest help between me and my IPs. I was very honest about everything. I know it sucks that shes still smoking but I would hope and exspected the it would 100% end when the transfer happens. You have to believe that everything happens for a reason. Have faith! It'll all work its self out. Good Luck! I'll keep possitive thoughts for you.K

Congrats on your upcoming transfer! Although I hate to hear of the uncomfortable feelings you are having. What has she lied about so far? What makes you think she isn't doing the shots?? That does have to be a horrible feeling. I will be praying for you!!
