RSS Yikes! Hurricane Ike!

Well, we're just glued to the t.v. right now watching to see what's happening in Galveston. My dad lives 10 blocks away from Galveston Island Shoreline off of Seawall Blvd. so I'm praying the house & his things will be ok..  At least he's safe staying in N. Houston!  The storm looks pretty bad.. a lot like Katrina, but bigger..

He actually didn't make it far enough in Houston and the day after the hurricane a tornado missed the house he was in by about a block. Thankfully he was ok. He's now visiting us and it's nice to spend some time with him. He's loving this time with Braxton!

Ike is looking scary.  I will be praying for everyone who lives in Galveston and the affected areas.
